About Me

I was raised on a farm in rural-ish Pennsylvania and moved to New York City in 2022 to continue my studies. I am a recent graduate of the Journalism + Design program at Eugene Lang College, summa cum laude with departmental honors. I am entering my second year as a MA student in Creative Publishing and Critical Journalism at The New School for Social Research.

I primarily write prose poems and flash fiction, usually about weird things or from odd perspectives. I like oranges and insects. I have work published or forthcoming in the New School Free Press, Eleven and a Half, Dirt, and orange peel mag.

I graduated from the Writers House Internship Program in Summer 2024, where I assisted two senior literary agents with Adult, Middle Grade, and Young Adult titles, in addition to Children’s dummies. I have experience as Executive Editor of the New School Free Press, Editor-in-Chief of Her Campus at The New School, editing newsletters and creating social media content for the Journalism + Design department, writing a book club series for the New School Free Press, designing product signage and painting murals for Johnny B Goode Ice Cream Parlor, and photographing musicians. I am the Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Finger Jam Magazine, which aims to give young, unestablished creatives a professional platform.

Aside from my professional interests, I am a miniature collector, a classical flutist, an amateur baker, a reader, a video editor, and an embroiderer. I review tiramisu on @tiramisublogger. I am happiest when I am sitting by the ocean or sipping on a matcha lemonade.
