About Me

I was raised on a farm in rural Pennsylvania, a location that was never quite big enough to fit my growing aspirations. As such, I moved to New York City after high school to continue my studies at The New School. I am a rising senior in the Journalism + Design department at Eugene Lang College and a first-semester Creative Publishing and Critical Journalism student at The New School for Social Research.

Universal access to digestible information is incredibly important to me; I love writing about topics that others find uninteresting or difficult to understand and demystifying the work that goes into reporting.

I have experience writing for Her Campus at The New School, editing newsletters and creating social media content for the Journalism + Design department, designing product signage and painting murals for Johnny B Goode Ice Cream Parlor, and photographing musicians. I am the Co-Founder and Editor In Chief of Finger Jam Magazine, which aims to give young, unestablished creatives a professional platform. I am dedicated to learning and experiencing as much as I possibly can during my limited time on Earth.

Aside from my professional interests, I am a miniature collector, a classical flutist, an amateur baker, a reader, a video editor, and an embroiderer. I review tiramisu on @tiramisublogger. I am happiest when I am sitting by the ocean or sipping on an iced chai.
